Today we would ask that you sit for a few moments and connect with the energy of your heart center.

Three minutes is all that is needed.  We would ask that you set a timer, and for three minutes focus your consciousness into the space of your heart.  Whatever this means to you — the physical organ, your chest, the energy center of the heart. Simply focus your consciousness into that place.  Notice how you feel.  If thoughts arise, gently return your consciousness to the heart center.

It is a very simple thing.  Here, in your heart, is a place of peace.  Even if you connect with it only for a few moments, it can do a world of good.
